Appointments can be scheduled through our website by selecting “Request an Appointment” or by calling 240-897-3770 or 202-599-4777. Existing patients may use the patient portal to access their account.

At UP Behavioral Health LLC, your provider is a board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a doctorate, specializing in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions with medication.

During a virtual visit, you will connect with your provider through a secure video or audio platform. Sessions typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the topic. Virtual visits provide a safe, confidential space to discuss your concerns, just like an in-person session.

During your first session, your provider will conduct a comprehensive initial evaluation to assess your needs and offer personalized, holistic recommendations to support your mental health and overall wellness. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss treatment options.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. Appointments canceled without sufficient notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee.

Yes! We accept many insurance plans, including Cigna, Aetna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

We accept payments by American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and more. Payment is due at the time of your appointment and can be made by debit or credit card, or ACH transfer.

The provider is not able to attend court or provide legal testimony for patients.

If you are in immediate danger or having a mental health crisis, such as suicidal or homicidal thoughts, call 911 or 988, or go to the nearest emergency room. Our providers check messages during regular business hours, and messages left after hours will be returned the next business day.
